The Veronicas star continues to rise. Three years since the release of their debut album, the pair are touring internationally, picking up ARIA nominations left, right and centre, and have two albums in their back catalogue. They're also one of the highest-selling pop acts in the country. Jess and Lisa's latest album, Hook Me Up, was up for four nominations at the recent ARIA Awards: Best Pop Release, Highest Selling Album and gained two nods for Highest Selling Single. Although they failed to pick up any of the awards, the very fact they were up for four awards pretty much cemented their place in the upper echelons of the Australian music industry. Also, they got to perform live.
With their 2007 album still selling and the singles still flowing, the Brisbane twins are on the Revenge Is Sweeter tour. And revenge really is sweeter, especially when it comes via two multi-platinum albums and a guest roll in some Archie comics. Presumably, the pair are going to start work on album number three sometime in the near future. This tour may well be your last chance to see them live for quite a while.
